The U.S. Secret Service said they responded Saturday around 12 noon to reports of a man who shot himself near the north fence line that surrounds the White House.
President Trump is currently in West Palm Beach, Fla., and will return later Saturday
The White House was immediately put on lockdown with members of the press being sent down to the basement.
The Secret Service tweeted there were no other injuries.
