A preliminary 8.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded early Tuesday about 155 miles off of Chiniak, Alaska, prompting a tsunami warning, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The entire U.S. west coast is under a tsunami watch, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.
